PS StorageServer

ion's PS StorageServer builds on over 20 yeears of custom server and storage expertise at ion. The PS StorageServer can scale up to 1PiB in 8U (128TiB per rack unit) when sensibly configured with RAID6 and a hot spare disk. ion's Configurator offers a range of options for RAID level, SSD caching, networking, service level and spares to support your requirements for high capacity storage, high performance storage or a storage platform providing both performance and capacity. ion's PS StorageServer is also well suited to a combination of solid state storage and/or performance disks and/or capacity disks for tiered storage requirements.

The PS StorageServer is based on a single rack chassis with every drive in an individual hot-swap tray for the simplest maintenance. No disks are in drawers and all data drives are in easy-to-access front hot swap trays. Intel^® Xeon^® processors are used to ensure the highest performance from your StorageServer.
